These terms apply to made-to-order goods supplied by us and are supplemented by the specific terms stated on your quotation, which prevail over this page where they differ. They do not limit statutory rights you hold as a consumer in your country of residence.
Made-to-order contract
Each piece is manufactured against a quotation and an approved production drawing. The contract is formed when you accept the quotation and pay the deposit stage it states; production is scheduled only after you approve the production drawing. The approved drawing is the agreed specification: dimensions, stone, finish, edge profile and drillings stated on it define conformity.
Prices and payment
Prices are quoted individually and itemise production, packing and the selected delivery service. Payment is by the stages stated on the quotation (commonly a deposit on order and balance before dispatch). Accepted payment methods are stated on your quotation. Import duties and taxes at destination are excluded unless the quotation expressly includes them.
Natural material
Natural stone varies from block to block; veining, tone and surface character will differ from photography. Such variation, and characteristics inherent to the stone (including filled porosity in travertine), do not constitute defects. See the Natural Stone Disclaimer.
Changes and cancellation
Specification changes before drawing approval are free-form; after approval they are quoted as variations. Cancellation before production begins is subject to costs already incurred (including material reserved); cancellation after cutting begins may forfeit the deposit up to the value of work performed. Details per order are stated on the quotation. Statutory cancellation rights, where they apply to made-to-order goods in your jurisdiction, are not affected, see the Returns policy and, for France, the CGV.
Delivery, risk and title
Delivery is per the service level on your quotation and the Delivery Policy. Risk passes on delivery (or on transfer to your nominated carrier where you arrange freight); title passes on payment in full. Trade orders state the applicable Incoterms on the quotation.
Conformity and claims
Inspect on delivery and notify visible damage as the Delivery Policy describes. Pieces not conforming to the approved drawing will be repaired, reworked or replaced at our election and cost; see Warranty & Claims. Nothing limits non-excludable statutory remedies.
